Chop Chop!!!

Yes I realize it has been a minute since I posted on here but I am back for an update!!! The time has come to cut my hair. I am about to cut all of the new growth off and have it short just like Halle Berry. The very first time I cut my hair like this I was soooo sad and scared. But then I realized that it was just hair and it would grow back eventually. See, my goal was to have that long, luscious, sexy hair that I can do anything to but then I thought that it is a lot of maintenence to go into managing the long hair. So I said screw it and I got a lot of compliments on my short hair anyway. Besides, more and more people are wearing fake hurr and wigs. I don't find it a big deal anyway. Back in the freaking Elizabethan era people were wearing wigs all the time and nobody cared then. I don't understand why it's such a big deal now. But I digress. So once I get my hair cut then I will post pictures up. A few weeks later I will probably get it dyed some cute color and I will put more pics up. So don't fret everyone. I haven't abandoned my blog just yet :) Oh yeah, and I have also ventured into the world of EXTREME COUPONING!!! Basically it's a show about these freakish stay at home moms with OCD clocking in 30+ hours a week finding as many coupons as they can. When they go to the grocery store, they get so many items that the bill reaches up to hundreds sometimes thousands of dollars. The best part is when they use their frequent shopper cards and coupons to bring the bill down all the way to the cheapest amount like 4, 6, 10 and sometimes 0 dollars! Its insane and I am going to make it my mission to learn this craft so I can get cheap things!

Pathways...

I feel like I'm at a crossroads in my life forreal. I've been exclusive for so long that maybe it's time to take a break from it all. My mind is telling me one thing but I feel another. Usually when I feel this way, I write it all out verse by verse in my poetry book. But right now, I am at a utter loss of words. So this post I am just letting out all of my thoughts. It's hard to let go of something for 6 long months. That's HALF A YEAR! But with me being away for 3 months, maybe its time to go cold turkey. No, I am not on any drugs or alcohol. Actually if you consider love a drug then I overdosed on it. Nonetheless, maybe I need to just get rid of all that excess baggage that has been weighing me down for so long. I don't even know what it feels like to be a lightweight anymore. I used to be on Cloud 9 but as of recently, it feels like I sunk to the deepest, darkest abyss in the ocean. Such a terrible feeling, but its how I have been feeling for a while. I'm the type of person who wouldn't quit anything but I'm viewing this experience as a paused one, not a stopped one. That doesn't mean I am gonna stop blogging so I will still keep updating each and everyday.

I'm Thinkin of a Master Plan

Have you wanted to help someone who is down and out but couldn't think of any way to help them? That's how I feel right now. See I have this person who means the world to me. He is stuck in a prediciment and I have no clue how to help him through it. Just because I can't have empathy for him. I have never been in his shoes and will never know what it feels like to be stuck between a rock and a hard place. So all I can really do is pray for him and hope that it gets better.

On a happy note....I found out that I can still get my position at UPS if I call them 2-3 weeks before I get back on campus. That's good too because I would get a check for $100+ every week and my parents will finally get off of my back.

Yeah Right!

So wtf was up with blogspot.com yesterday? I couldn't get on at all! But anyway, ya'll missed a day. I did in fact look for a few jobs and filled out some applications. Turns out though, to my surprise, like 4 places out of the 20 that I went to were actually hiring. Still haven't heard back from them might I add haha. But i did go to the mall and get a bunch of goodies. That was a plus I guess. It's kinda bittersweet now that I think of it because the places that I wanted to apply at, were the ones that said they weren't hiring and I ended up buying things there....So I paid a portion of their salary...haha. Today I noticed an upcoming female rapper named Guyana. I heard her on a Yung Berg cypher and she is actually pretty good. I know many are sick of seeing all these women trying to do the Nicki Minaj, or the Lil Kim thing but she doesn't remind me of any of them(Yet). So definitely check her out. Another Day, Another.....?

Did anyone ever notice that it is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to get a job these days!?? It's crazy and it pisses me off. Of course there are tons of places to work and I am not, by any means, saying that I'm picky when it comes to jobs. But the simple fact is that I'm not the only one looking for a job. EVERYONE and they mama's is looking! Such madness! And lets not forget when you enter a place thats hiring and your all pumped to get that application, but WAIT! You get Slammed with the "We're excepting applications" line. That ish got old the 4th time I heard it. If you are new to the whole application world though, that phrase basically means the people AREN'T hiring anytime soon. I actually had a friend who worked at this clothing store and he said every time someone went in for an application, even if they WERE hiring, they still say that they accept applications.

So whether or not a store is hiring, I guess we will never know until we hear that Rang-A-Lang. Now that the job rant is over.... I am fresh out the shower, bout to go back into the Real World and go on the continuous quest for a job. :/ Wish me Luck!

Summer Breeze

I'm finally home at last after livin' the College Girl lifestyle for 10+ months. Pretty much everything that people tell you about college is true. I had to do A LOT! Some things turned out awesome, while others.....um, not so much haha. Today though, I decided to view my first year in college as a "learning experience." Let's just hope that next year will be a better experience haha.

So every other day, I will be choosing a random song to add to my summer playlist. Today's song actually comes from the one and only Wiz Khalifa. He came out with a mixtape a while back called "Kush and Orange Juice." Personally, I ain't that big of a fan of the whole Taylor Gang or (insert crazy action here) movement but, I first listened to this song after seeing a Travis Porter video on Youtube(Go Figure lol).
